Registration for the convention includes access to super sessions, workshops, major speakers, and the exhibit hall. Meal events are extra (a la carte or part of package registrations).
Registration does NOT include hotel accommodations.

There will be a $25 service charge on cancellations before December 17, 2021. There will be a $50 service charge for cancellations between 12/18/2021 and 2/11/2022. (If the event is cancelled before February 11, 2022 due to COVID, service charges will be waived.) No refunds will be given after February 11, 2022 due to our position as a non-profit organization, funded by teachers for teachers. The price for all registrations increases after February 11, 2022.
Badges and convention materials must be picked up at check-in.
CATE Member Discount
CATE members get a $50 discount on registration, but you’ll need your membership #. You can find your CATE membership # and expiration date on your mailing label on the convention flyer, or on your mailing label on an issue of California English; you’ll need it to get the $50 discount on registration! If you can’t find your CATE membership number, you can e-mail our Membership Chair, Joan L. Williams, at email@example.com.
If your school is sending multiple registrants, use this feature.
You can set up a “point person” for initiating the group registration (this could be a
school finance clerk or a lead teacher). The point person sets up the group payment,
then can send a link to the rest of the group to enter their registrations.

To register a Group, use the same link! After registering your first attendee, you have the option to “Pay or Register Another.” When you click Register Another, you automatically create the Group!
