Convention Information

Student Creative Writing Invitation/Showcase

CATE has decided to have a writing invitation/showcase instead of a contest with place awards. CATE will create the annual prompt, and then each local council will accept entries and decide on the top three showcase entries. The local council will forward the top three to CATE, which will post the local entries on CATEweb.org.

Entries can be submitted in the following divisions: Grades 3-4; Grades 5-6; Grades 7-8; Grades 9-10; Grades 11-12; and College Students.

Submissions from each division will be published on CATEweb.
