Friday Night Event

Panel Discussion and Buffet Dinner

In a year when educational issues have been foremost in the news, when the state convention is taking place in Sacramento, and when teachers are overwhelmed by budget cuts, testing debates, and other concerns that are "never more crucial," the traditional Friday Night Event is going to take advantage of the chance to create some real conversation. A panel of movers and shakers in education and politics will be joined by moderator Miles Myers. A buffet dinner and question and answer period will be part of the event.

College Credit

One to two CEU units of college credit will be available from California State University Sacramento. You can earn one credit for one day of attendance at the convention; 1.5 credits for attendance at the entire convention, and one half credit for attendance at the preconvention. Cost will be $100 a unit. Register at the convention.
