Kathleen Krull is the award-winning author of Harvesting Hope: the story of Cesar Chavez; The Boy on Fairfield Street: How Ted Geisel Grew Up to Become Dr. Seuss; Wilma Unlimited: How Wilma Rudolph Became the World's Fastest Woman; the popular “Lives of Series” (including Lives of Musicians, Writers, Artists, Athletes, Presidents, and Extraordinary Women) and many other books for children.

Always an avid reader, Krull worked for many years as a book editor before becoming a full-time writer. She is married to children’s book illustrator Paul Brewer and their first book together is Clip, Clip, Clip:Three Stories about Hair.
